I graduated from James Madison University in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication (WRTC) and have worked in the marketing and public relations field for the last four years. In that time, my skills have expanded from content writing to encompass web design, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, project management, graphic design, and data analysis, including a certificate in full-stack web development from The George Washington University.

The greatest lesson I have gleaned from my combined seven years of professional and academic experience is that you only stand to benefit from expanding your portfolio of knowledge at every opportunity. Thus, I am a content writer working to become a front-end web developer. My vision is to be able to own the entire content creation process from initial drafting to publishing the final product online, with total control over presentation and aesthetics.
